Theme Leads
The role of the Theme Lead is to be the focal point for all the research carried out within their theme. They all possess significant research experience and enjoy a high reputation both in this county and internationally for their contributions to research in their particular area of expertise. They provide leadership to all staff working within a theme and give direction, advice and support to all the studies being undertaken. Additionally they provide both performance and budgetary management of studies within their theme. They also identify potential new research opportunities and work with team members to enable them to be developed and progressed. Theme Leads have a significant representational role both within CLAHRC and NIHR structures but also at national and international events.
